McCAMMON, SAMUEL LESTER "SPECK" - age 86, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2001, at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital. He was a member of Eusebia Presbyterian Church, and was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Oliver and Ellen Davis McCammon; brothers, Edwin, Robert, and Ken McCammon. Survivors include his sister, Dorotha Stafford of Maryville; nieces and nephews, Steve and Roma McCammon, Scott and Donna McCammon, Mitzi McCammon, and Eugene McCammon; great nieces and nephews, Scottie McCammon, Kandi McCammon, Justin Newman, Danny Simerly, Dana Simerly, Patricia Bookout, and Kay Everett. Funeral services will be 7:30 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Raines and Dr. John Franklin officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:30 a.m. Monday at Eusebia Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-7:30 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
