Kenneth Spence, 62, of Kodak passed away at his home August 30th, 2004. Also known as “Pap” and “Pappaw Jeep”, he loved four wheeling. He opened Spence’s Four Wheel Drive in the early 80’s and provided parts and service to four wheel drive owners for over 20 years.
He was also an active sponsor and participated in local Jeep and Truck pulls with ETTPA and charter member and former President of the East Tennessee Ridge Runners.
He was preceded in death by parents Roy and Eulalla Spence, brothers Carl, Blaine and Rex Spence and sister Gerelene Spence.

His wife of 42 years: Dannie Spence
Daughters and sons-in-law: Diane and Johnny Fox, Kay and Roger Waller
Grandchildren: Dustin Wilhoite, Brandon Waller and Rachel Fox
Brothers: Delmar, Harold, Ralph, Larry, and Garry Spence
Sisters: Jan Hall, Helen Sowers, Faye Overstreet and Pauline August
Sisters-in-law: Reba and Mable Spence.
Many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Joe Hancock officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held 2 PM Thursday in Butler Cemetery in Cosby.
