James "Ralph" Spence, age 80 of Sevierville passed away Sunday April 17, 2016. He was saved at a young age at Richardson Cove Baptist Church. Ralph so enjoyed his vegetable garden and sharing with others. He worked for Wolf Tree Experts for 53 years and retired in 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Euella Spence; brothers Gary Spence, Delmar Spence, Carl Spence, Kenneth Spence, Blaine Spence; sisters, Janice Spence Hall, Beulah Faye Spence Overstreet; sister-in-law, Reba Spence

Wife of 59 years: Blanche Knight Spence
Daughters and sons-in-law: Gail and Trent Williamson, Kathy and Sonny Helton
Grandchildren: Melissa Rutherford and husband Mike, Amanda Troutman (Joe), Travis Williamson (Ivonne and her daughter Abiani), Mitchell Williamson and wife Alicia
Great Grandchildren: Aiden, Cade, Haley, Kinsley, Brody, and expecting soon, Nayland

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Nan, Humana Care Manager; Caris Hospice; Health Homecare; and Dr. Liebman with Thompson Cancer Center.
The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Wednesday with funeral service to follow at 7PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Dr. David Ayers and Pastor Chuck Simpson officiating.
