Pearl Woody Hicks, age 79, of Cosby, passed away, August 1, 2006 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex D. Hicks; son Steven Hicks; sister, Irene Phillips.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rex Edward and Sherry Hicks of Pikeville, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Phillip Bryant of Cosby, Brenda and Ronnie Burgess of Pikeville, TN, Loretta and Earl Johnson of Newport, Janice Hicks and Terry Prong of Cosby; brother, Mack Woody and wife Sarah of Cosby; sister, Louise Woody and husband Lonnie of Cosby of Newport; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held, 11:00 am Friday, August 4, 2006, at Denton Baptist Church, with Reverend Gary Henderson and Reverend Gene Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in McMillian Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Manes Funeral Home.
