He was a veteran of WWII. Lestle was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Mary Hicks; and brothers, Roy, Carl, Rex, and Kyle Hicks. Lestle is survived by his sister, Frances Spence of Elyria, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the McMillian Cemetery with Rev. Gene Watkins officiating. Military rites were provided by Lance Corporal Charles C. Roberts D.A.V. Post #102. The family received friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday evening at the Brown Funeral Home. Brown Funeral Home was in charge. [S87] Death Certificate.
