Mrs. Peggy J. Carver, 57, of Newport, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2005, at her home following a lingering illness.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Maude Hopkins, and parents, Williams J. and Ruby L. McMahan.
She is survived by her three loving children, daughters: Lisa Williamson and her husband, Roger, and Shea Carver; she had one son, Brian Carver; six grandchildren, Mandie, Whitney, and Paige Hannah, Jaylon Dunn, Chad Styles II, and Lauren McGaha; sister, Judy Chobanian, all of Cosby.
She will also be missed by father of her children, Donald Carver; friends, Beth Allen, Ada Janes, Martha Hicks, Debbie Proffitt, and special friend for many years, Janice Baxter.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Gullett officiating.
Interment will follow in Waters-Large Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
