Georgia Mae Ford November 18, 1918 December 19, 2007 Georgia Mae Ford, age 89, of Newport, passed away, Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gladys A. Ford; parents, William and Hattie Dunn; sons, Roy and Lynn Ford; daughter, Marlene Ford Campbell; and son-in-law, Kenny Sharp. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Charlene Ford of Newport; daughter, Linda Sharp of Knoxville; daughters-in-law, Betty Hall and Vivian Ford of Newport; sisters in law, Imogene Dunn of Newport, Valerie (Harold) Huffman of Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren, Debbie (Dean) Shults, Trudy (Jimmy) Arrowood, Wayne (Jayne) Ford, Rhonda Ford, Keith Ford, Susan (Rick) Clevenger, Monica (Eric) Clevenger, Mona (Scott) Sutton, Mandy (Derek) Grooms and Misty (Nigel) Fine; twelve great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Bursell Belcher and Naomi Ochman; and many other friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Friday, December 21, 2007 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ransom Hall and Ed Frazier officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 22, 2007 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Friday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
