Betty Dunn Nichols Allen age 81 of Newport died Monday evening in the Morristown-Hamblen Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Nichols, parents Allen and Georgia Mae Lane Dunn, sister, Wanda Sims.
She is survived by husband Arlie Allen of Newport , Children James Allen Nichols and wife Judith, Tony Lee Nichols and wife Denise and Bridget Boyd and husband Jeff all of Newort. Step daughters Rhonda Smallwood and Ann Gibson of Newport and Alda Roberts and husband Jim of Dayton, TN., Sister, Claudette Shults of Newport, also 10 grand children and 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 til 8 P.M. with funeral service at 8 P. M. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Calvin Hammontree and Rev. Norman Jones officiating.
Graveside service will be 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Union Cemetery.
Brown Funeral Home in charge.
