Preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years: Burl Delozier Davis, parents: Oscar Wood and Laura Norris Wood. She leaves her sons and their spouses: Burl E. and Billie Davis of Talbott; Cleamon and Lois Davis of Nashville; and Jack and Sharon Davis of White Pine; daughter and husband: Sandra and Allen Fowler of White Pine; grandchildren: Danny, Brent, Davy, Marc, Joel, Steven, and Candace Davis, Craig and Ryan Fowler, Summer Phillips and Michelle Rucker; and several great grandchildren; brothers: WC Wood of Lenior, NC and Edwin Wood of Dark Hollow; sisters: Lucille Smith of Morristown, Myrtle Conard of Newport, and Maudella Wilson of Bogard. The family would like to say a special thanks to two wonderful ladies who watched and cared for her, Lisa Gibson and Treva Raines loved her and were loved by her. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of White Pine. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of White Pine with Rev. Brian Osborne, Rev. T.H. Farrell officiating. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 PM , prior to services. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
