She was a member of First Christian Church of Newport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey W. Ball; son, Johnny Richard Ball; brother, Horace Kennedy; and sister, Lena Mae McNabb. She is survived by her son, Dewey (Dude) Ball Jr. and wife Emily, of Newport; daughters and sons-in-law, Pat Henry and husband Jack, of Lenoir City; Janice Ramsey and husband Jimmy Fred, of Newport; Denise Depew and husband Ronnie, of Dandridge; daughter-in-law, Doris Ball, of Newport; 10 grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Ed Hardison officiating. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2005, in Union Cemetery, honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
