Maxie Williams Seehorn, age 90, of Newport, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Newport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Rhea Seehorn, Jr.; son, John William Seehorn; parents, Lemuel Hooper and Mary Victoria Williams; brother, Irvin Williams; sisters, Geneva Williams, Hazel Starnes, Madge Williams, and Mary Nelle Teague.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Stahl, of Signal Mountain, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, James M. and Patricia Seehorn, of Garland, Texas, Thomas H. and Patricia Seehorn, of Newport; daughter-in-law, Tamera Seehorn, of Newport; brother, Fred Williams, of Newport; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held 8 p.m., Friday, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rich Lloyd officiating, with burial 10 a.m., Saturday, in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, prior to the funeral at Manes Funeral Home.
For those who wish memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Newport.
