(August 9, 1934 - February 20, 2016) Betty Jo Hall Frisbee, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 20, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was a loving Christian mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Frisbee; son, Edwin Frisbee; parents, Carl and Marie Hall; parents-in-law, Martin and Eliza Frisbee; son-in-law, Shane Lewellyn; brother, Ty Hall; sisters, Jetta (Buddy) Hurley, Sharon McCarter and Jackie Frisbee. She is survived by her children, Susan (Tilmon) Black, Randall (Connie) Frisbee, Jewel (Johnny) Messer, Joann (Ronnie) Leatherwood, and Gloria Lewellyn and finance’ Joe Everette; grandchildren, Matthew (Leslie) Frisbee, Thomas (Jennifer) Black, Cynthia Black (Dustin Davis), Jason Frisbee, Skylar (Amber) Hance, Steven Leatherwood and finance’ Kesha Sutton, Jacob Frisbee, Samuel (Cortney) Black, Jeremy (Tonya) Lewellyn, Ryne Leatherwood, C.J. Mooneyham, Adam Lewellyn and Leah Mooneyham; great grandchildren, Levi and Lyza Frisbee, Cydni, Emma and Noah Black, Christian Lett and Dillon Davis, Kael and Madelyn Black and Sky Hance; brother Phillip (Maxine) Hall; brothers-in-law, Lowell McCarter and Kenneth Frisbee; sisters-in-law, Linda Hall Rolen, Selma Ogle and Nita Frisbee; daughter-in-law, Robin Frisbee Barnes; special cousin, Texia (Arnold) Hunt of Odum, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, February 22, 2016 at Manes Funeral Home with Wayne Plemmons and Rev. John Henderson officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Frisbee Family Cemetery.
