Dennis D. Moore, age 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at his home in Del Rio. He attended Del Rio First Church of God and is member of the Family of God. Dennis was owner and operator of a construction business, DMI Grading, for the past 16 years. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, E.L. “Chub” Moore and Lois Finchum Moore; niece Tina Maples; and father-in-Law, Claude Grigsby. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sharon Grigsby Moore, children, Jamie Tocholke (Brian) of Del Rio, Travis Moore (Brooke) of Bean Station, Tyler Moore of Del Rio and his girlfriend (Macey Hance ) of Newport; grandchildren; Abram Moore, Harlie Tocholke, Mason Shults, and Amber Tocholke; sister: Bettye Moore Maples (Dave McVicker) of New Riegel, OH; brother, Maurice Moore of Newport Additional survivors include-mother-in Law, Beulah Grigsby of Del Rio; brothers-in-law: Dewey Grigsby (Brenda), Eugene Grigsby (Peggy), David Grigsby ( Tracy), and David Brooks of Del Rio; sisters-in-law, Reva Freeman (Gary), Carolyn Reece (Billy), and Shirley Moore of Parrottsville, Kathleen Davis (Jack), Linda Roberts (Roger) of Newport, Doris Reece (Freddy), Loretta Brooks of Del Rio and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Harold Jones officiating. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at Mulberry Gap Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Del Rio First Church of God, Building Fund, 1049 Blue Mill Road, Del Rio, TN 37727 or the Mulberry Gap Cemetery Fund, C/O Paul Metcalf, 216 Ground Squirrel Road, Del Rio, TN 37727.
