Phoebe Craig Birchard, 66, of Lake City, FL passed away at her home March 13, 2012. She was born in Newport, Tennessee on June 30 1945, to Herman and Emma Gentry (deceased). Phoebe graduated from the
University of Florida and received a BA degree in education. She was married to David Birchard.
She was a school teacher, mother, wife, and wonderful sister. A member of Lake City Church of God, Phoebe was a woman of great faith.
She is survived by her children Troy Craig of Norfolk, VA; Casey Craig of Lake City, FL; and Elizabeth Berry of Hartford, AL. Phoebe is also survived by her brothers and sisters Carolyn Hunter; Wanda Tribble; Herman Gentry; Judy Brannon; Marcella Gentry; Mitchell Gentry; Ike Gentry; and Arlie Gentry. Funeral arrangements are 6:00- 8:00 PM, Friday, March 16, at Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home in Lake City, and 11:00 AM Saturday at the Lake City Church of God.
