Cassie Mae Styles, age 82, of Parrottsville, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 17, 2009,at the home of her daughter Judy. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She was of Baptist faith and attended Gospel Light Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey (Huss) and Nancy Gentry; brothers, L. C. Gentry and Sanford Gentry. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Lawrence (Bud) Styles of Parrottsville; her children; Jimmy Styles and wife Sharon of Newport, J. D. Styles of Parrottsville, Johnny Styles and wife Charlotte of Del Rio, Jerald Styles of Parrottsville; James Neal Styles and wife Kathy, of Parrottsville, Jackie Styles and wife Colleen of Newport, Judy Hensley and husband Jimmy of Parrottsville, Jay Harold Styles and wife Lois, Jonesboro, TN; brothers, Ralph Gentry and wife Pat, Newport, Marvin Gentry and wife Katie of Knoxville, Remus Gentry and wife Marie of Newport, Donald Gentry, Jack Gentry and Sanford Gentry all of Newport; sisters, Mary Gozikowsai and husband Gene, Hazel Styles and husband Beecher of Newport; sisters-in- law and brothers-in-law, Margaret (a special sister) and Pete Styles, Bybee, Grace and Lanford Gentry, Clarksville, Faye and Frank Wilson of Knoxville; special niece, Janice Keller of Newport; special friend, Arlene Davis of Newport; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; also numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Doug Messer and Rev. Scott Gorrell officiating.. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Monday, October 19, 2009 at Manes Funeral Home.
