She was a member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Allen J. French of Morristown; daughter and son-in-law Wanda and Charles Smith of White Pine, and son and daughter-in-law Winford and Brenda French of Del Rio; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Helen Bailey and sister and brother-in-law Jean and James Freshour, all of Knox County. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. in Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Green and the Rev. George McCoy officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2010, at the New Home Church Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment.
