He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Mae “Jean” Gray Whitlock; sons, Gary Clarence Whitlock and Dan Randall “Randy” Whitlock. He is survived by his children, Lemmy Whitlock and wife Amy, of Newport, Marty Whitlock, of Newport, Elayne Valentine, and husband Pud of Newport, Janice Bell and husband Dallas of Cosby, Sheila Fox and husband Buddy of Newport, Charlotte Ray and husband Lee of Dandridge, Susan Hance and husband Jimmy of Del Rio; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; special friend, Nancy Barnes; several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Sunday, April 25, 2010 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Frank Bell officiating. Burial will be 10:00 am Monday, April 26, 2010 in Webb-Oak Hill Cemetery.
