He was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Gray and daughter, Sandy Gray Lane. He is survived by his wife, Fayetta Gray, of Bogard; sons, Charlie Gray, of Newport and Larry Gray, of Sevierville; brother, Troy Gray, of San Diego, CA; sisters, Mary Edith Bryant, of Newport, Patty Costner, of Newport, Nancy Fisher, of Lewisville, NC, and Betty Mayfield, of Raleigh, NC; nine grandchildren; mother-in-law, Mable Denton, of Newport; two sisters-in-law, Diana Seal, of White Pine and Nedra Butler, of Cosby; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. The funeral will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2001, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Stephen Smith officiating, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
