Victor Jay Freeman, 47, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2003, at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was formerly employed by Walters State Expo Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Freeman; grandparents, Hazel and John Smith, T.E. and Rebecca Freeman; sister-in-law, Melissa Freeman; special cousin, Louis Smith; and aunt, Iris Dale Glenn Woods. He is survived by his mother, Mickey Freeman, of Morristown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell and Melinda Freeman, of Morristown, and Eric and Stacy Freeman, of Newport; nieces and nephews, Justin, Megan, Christopher, Jeremy, Dustin and Chase; aunts and uncles, Paul and Imogene Freeman, Rolan and Betty Freeman, Dan and Dorothy Freeman, all of Newport; Helen and Kenneth Smith, Ann and James Smith, of Morristown; and Tommy and Joyce Smith, of Taylor, Michigan; also several cousins. Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home West Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Union Cemetery.
