Aundrey Virginia Roland Duckett Aundrey Virginia Roland Duckett of Rixeyville, VA, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
She was born in Berwind, WV on January 15, 1923, to James and Maude Roland. She was married to the late Homer E. Duckett in 1943. Aundrey was the loving mother of 6 children. She was a homemaker that lived on her family farm in Rixeyville with her sons. Aundrey was a patient, kind, & caring woman that always made time for her family.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Jackie Roland and the following: (s) Roland & Harriet Duckett, and children Michael & Nida Duckett w/ Claire & Norah; Rich & Kim Panek w/ Sydney & Madeleine; Erin Duckett; Bryan Duckett & Carrie Curts w/ Kaitlyn & Landen. (s) Ronnie & Gaye Duckett, and children Wes Corbin & Kelly Duckett-Corbin w/Ryan & Ryleigh; Christy Duckett; Zachary Duckett. (d) Frances & Ted Hume and children Janet Hume; Jeff & Julie Hume w/ Hailey. (s) Nelson & Elaine Duckett and children Tommy Duckett; Nicole Duckett; Christopher & Danielle Duckett w/ Kaden & Marissa. (s)Wayne Duckett. (s) Kenny & Lauren Duckett and children Daniel & Catie. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by everyone. We love you Granny.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, February 22, 2011, at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Culpeper National Cemetery; Old Grounds, U.S. Avenue, Culpeper with a repast to follow at Clore-English Funeral Home, catered by Luigi's Italian Restaurant.
