Elsie Garver, age 83, of Cosby, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Newport Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Garver; parents, Erby and Lizzie Jenkins; sisters, Linda Ball and Susie Spurgeon; brothers, Emmitt, Eldie, and Esley Jenkins; grandson, Shawn Russell Garver. She is survived by her son, Tim Garver of Cosby; daughter, Marlene Cody of Cosby; grandchildren, David (April) Cody and Timbo Garver; great-grandchildren, Kenny and Kurry Cody, Mariah and Bo Garver; sisters-in-law, Velma Garver and Jettie McKeehan; brothers-in-law, Philip (Tommye) Garver and Lemual (Jenita) Garver. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 7:00 pm in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leon Large officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm prior to the services. Burial will be on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00 am in Union Cemetery. Friends and Family may sign the guest register online at www.manesfuneralhome.com
