OGLE, DOROTHY PAULINE - age 68, of Knoxville (formerly of Gatlinburg) went to be with the Lord 7:25 am. Tuesday, November 28, 2000 after a long bout with cancer. She attended Halls Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Ira Thomas and Florence Elizabeth Whaley; nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors: sons and daughters in law, Danny and Diana Oakley, Tommy and Becky Oakley; daughters and sons in law, Donna (Sue) and Oscar Nipper, Clara Stanton and Joe Green; grandchildren, Tammy, Candy, Alyisa, Jason, Shonda, Georgia, Timmy, Tommy, Samuel Jarred, Joe, Mike, Kenny, Derek; great grandchildren, Tia, Desma, Shanna, Colby, Drake, Brandy, Mitchell, Morgan, Sydney, TJ, Samuel Zachary; sisters, Thurlia Quilliams, Zola McMahan. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery for interment. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville, Tenn. Dorothy Pauline Ogle, 68, of Knoxville, formerly of Gatlinburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000.
She attended Halls Baptist Church.
Her parents were Ira Thomas and Florence Elizabeth Whaley.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Diana Oakley, Tommy and Becky Oakley; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna (Sue) and Oscar Nipper, Clara Stanton and Joe Green; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Thurlia Quilliams and Zola McMahan.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery for interment. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
