Cecil G. Ogle, 83, of Sevier County Health Care Center and formerly of Seymour, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2001.She was a member of Seymour United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Early Nelson Ogle; daughter, Ruth McMahan; son, Charles Ogle; four brothers and three sisters.Her parents were James and Martha Stinnett Brackins.Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Claude Ogle, Clarence and Sue Ogle; daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred and John Dale Williams, Evelyn Lampkin and Eddie Hutsell, Helen and Lowell Thomas, Brenda and Sam Caughron; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Kate Miller and many nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with service following at 8 p.m. at Seymour United Methodist Church. Graveside services ar 10 a.m. Thursday at Highland South Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Maynard and the Rev. Mickey Rainwater officiating.

OGLE, CECIL G. - age 83, of Sevier County Health Care Center, formerly of the Oak City Community in Seymour, passed away Monday, September 24, 2001. She was a member of Seymour United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Early Nelson Ogle; daughter, Ruth McMahan; son, Charles Ogle; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Ogle; father, James Brackins; mother, Martha Stinnett Brackins; brothers, Earl, Harrison, Hurstell, and Billy Brackins; sisters, Pearl King, Grace Autry, and Georgia Ownby.
Cecil, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister, is survived by her son, Claude Ogle; son and daughter-in-law, Clarence and Sue Ogle; daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred and John Dale Williams, Evelyn Lampkin and Eddie Hutsell, Helen and Lowell Thomas, Brenda and Sam Caughron; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren; sister, Kate Miller and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2001 with the service following at 8 p.m. at Seymour United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, at Highland South Cemetery with Rev. Charles Maynard and Rev. Mickey Rainwater officiating. Cecil's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Highland South Funeral Home, has arrangements, 573-7300.
