Fred B. Barger, age 88, of Parrottsville, went to be with his Lord peacefully, Friday, November 24, 2006 at his home.
He was a member of Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church. He was retired from Stolkey Van Camp.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mattie Rhea Barger. His parents, john and Bettie Barger, as well as his eleven brothers and sisters, Joe Barger, Crawford Barger, Mary Barger, Hunley Barger, Carrie Waldrop, Haskell Barger, Zena Bell Talley, Charlie Barger, Louie Gregg, Iva Hawk and Flora Smith.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John and Peggy Barger, his granddaughter, LeAnna Beeler and her husband, Mike Beeler, his grandson, John Barger, Jr., his great grandchildren, Ryan Adcox, Charley Barger, Chase Barger, Garrett Beeler and Jason Beeler. Other survivors include special neighbors and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 26 from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 pm with Rev. Ray Wiley and Rev. Manson Lee officiating.
Burial will be in Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church Cemetery at 10:00 am Monday, November 27, 2006
