He was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Edith Thomas, Ruth Reece Thomas; parents, James and Mae Turner Thomas; and also his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Victor Thomas; grandson, Dustin Thomas both of Tucson, Arizona; special caregiver, Chris Wilds, Morristown; special friends Harold Taylor; and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, January 30, 2017 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Goin officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in the Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday prior to funeral service.
