Frank Hall, age 94 went home to be with the Lord, Monday morning, February 18, 2008 at 1:40 a.m. at Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport. Frank was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church as long as his health permitted. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Emiline Hall; step-mother, Cora Hall; son, Tony Hall; wives, Sara Hall, Lucy Hall and Eunice Hall; brothers, Jakie, Allen and James Robert Hall; sisters, Eliza Hall, Rebecca Freeman Glenn, Viola Laws, Rachael Baxter, Effie Cogdill and Katherine McCabee. He is survived by sisters, Ellen Bailey of Woodriver, Ill., Mary (Jack) Raines; brothers, Ransom (Betty) Hall, Alford (Joyce) Hall all of Newport; daughter-in-law, Pam Hall of Greenwood, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephew?s and friends. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be at 8 p.m. with Rev. Fred Cagle, Rev. Ransom Hall and Mike Runyan officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2008 in Union Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home is in charge.
