  On 27 March 1874 Albert W. Mateer and wife Elizabeth of Swatain Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania for $600, sold to Mathias Eschelman of Lower Allen Township, a house and lot in White Hill, East Pennsboro Township, on the road to Gettysburg, the property bought on 1 April 1872 from James and Lydia Davis. In 1876 Albert moved to Putnam County, Illinois, and thence to Union Township, Adams County, Iowa in 1883; about 1907 he moved again to Cromwell, Union County, Iowa.
