Mr. Kenny Lynn Ledford, of Cosby, born February 24, 1969, the only child of Lonnie and Ernestine Ledford, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2009. He was Dad to his son Jacob, his daughter Daryl, and son Jared, all of Cosby. Robin Ledford of Cosby was the love of his life and mother of his children. Tinker Ledford, of Cosby, was his special cousin and friend. He was blessed with many aunts, uncles, cousins and very special friends. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at Smoky Mountain Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Leon Large officiating. Interment will be in Ledford Family Cemetery. The family received friends at the family home (5038) Hooper Highway, Cosby) beginning at 4 p.m. Monday. Pallbearers will be Danny McGaha, Manney Moore, John Johnson, Bernie Coggins, John Daruna and Bert Hannah. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Brown, Robin Benson, Mike Benson, Casey Gilliam, David Gilliam, Scott Williams, Kelvin Williams, Charlie Williams, Matthew Wilde, Nathan Wilde, Chris Ledford, Lucas Ledford, Logan Ledford, Gooter Ball, Eddie Hance and all the many friends to numerous to name.
