Gregory, born April 6, 1923, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 16, 2006. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. He served his country in WWII in the Army. Connie led a full, happy life, overcoming much strife with a smile on his face and faith in the Lord in his heart. Always willing to lend a hand, he never turned his back to anyone in need. He loved unconditionally and asked little in return. Connie will be remembered most for his love for his family and neighbors, his giving heart, and his faith and love for the Lord. He will be greatly missed, but also celebrated because his life set an example for everyone around him. Connie is survived by his: Wife and childhood sweetheart of 58 years: Lucille E.
