Buda, Mary Evelyn Bales –age 65, of Sevierville, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2007. Her passing concludes a wonderful life of love, friendships and her passion for antiques. Mary touched many people and never met a stranger and never treated anyone as a stranger. Waiting in heaven for her was her son, Eddie Bales, and her parents, Milford and Violet White.
Survivors
She is survived by her constant companion, best friend and loving husband, Charles “Zandy” Buda III; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Joe DeRosa of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Karen Bales of Knoxville; grandson, Grant Ruth and her “Babies” grandchildren, Joey and Sophia DeRosa; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Charles Bivens of Kodak, Sandy and Guy McCloud of Strawplains; brother and sister-law, Danny and Karen White of Knoxville. We would like to thank all our family and friends for being there for us. We would like to especially thank our cousin, Joyce King, neighbor, Helen Kear, her Aunt Tootsie (Ruth Lemons of Arizona) and family friend, Tracy Kear for all the love and compassion you showed Mary. Mary was affectionately known her entire life to family and close friends as “Fuzzy.” She fought hard and never gave up on life. Her battle with cancer will be an inspiration to us and for many others for the rest of our lives.
