Anen, Jane Driskill – age 80 of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at the family home after an eight year battle with cancer. She was born in Newport, TN the daughter of Clyde E. and Helen Driskill. She was a graduate of UT and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity. For 35 years she was part of Anen and Associates, a distributorship of educational furniture and equipment. Jane was a loving wife and mother, and cared deeply for others. She enjoyed travelling with family and friends as well as being active in many other civic and social groups throughout the years. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, serving in administrative, musical, worship, educational as well as local and international mission activities. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Clyde E. Driskill, Jr. She is survived by husband Walter J. Anen, son John A. Anen, daughter Kimbrough Anen, several cousins and nephews and special friend Tracy Kincaid.
The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Antonucci and his team of caring, dedicated professionals for extending the quality of Jane's life for the past several years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Knoxville First United Methodist 3316 Kingston Pike Knoxville TN 37919.
A memorial service will be held at Knoxville First United Methodist Church on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 3:00 pm with Rev Tom Seay officiating.
