He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II attached to the 85Th. Division 339 Th. Infantry Regiment in Italy. Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Jane Lawson Walker; Daughter, Elizabeth Ann Sutton; Parents, John Henry and Mary Trotter Walker; Sisters, Ethel Maples, Minnie Maples, Pearl Kirby, Lucy Tallent, Edith Walker, Irene Walker and Ina King: Brothers, Ernest Walker, George Walker and Roy Walker. Survivors include his Children and Spouses, John Walker and wife, Deborah of Sevierville; Danny Walker of Sevierville; Gary Walker and wife Marcia of Sevierville; Brenda Whaley and husband, Eddie of Sevierville; Patsy Clabough and husband, Freeman of Sevierville; Grandchildren, Johnathan Walker, Staci Caton, Larissa Walker, Shelley Seagle, Peggy Lucas, Mitchell and Melanie Whaley, Chad and Joel Clabough, all of Sevierville, Jennifer Adlof of Texas and Step Granddaughter, Renee Roberts of Sevierville; Seven Great Grandchildren; Sister, Myrtle Trentham of Loudon; Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of friends. Services will be held 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Rawlings Funeral Home with the Rev. Beecher Dunsmore officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2006 in Mattox Cemetery.
