RICHARD ELVIN DICK was born in Meade, KS July 15, 1935.He had several health problems over the last five years. He passed this life on June 8, 2011 @ Pigeon Forge Rehab and Health Ctr. He belonged to and attended Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church in Townsend. Elvin was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Dick, Mother, Inez Scarborough Dick, stepmother, Effie Scarborough Dick. He was active in genealogy, and belonged to several groups, such as the Sons of the American Revolution. He was survived by a son Kalvin of Mansfield, TX, one daughter, Verla Kay of Wichita, KS and three stepchildren. Barry Brown, of Willow Park, TX, Mark Brown of Nicholasville, KY, and a stepdaughter Robin Hendricks of Sevierville, TN. And his loving wife and caregiver Darlene. Elvin had nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Elvin's body was donated to Genesis Donor Program in Memphis, TN. Memorial Services will be held at Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church 12:00 pm June 12. No flowers please. All donations may be given to the church. Elder James Cooper officiating.
