JONES , FRED W. 78 of New Market, passed away on the morning of Monday, October 14, 2013. He was a member of Thorngrove Baptist Church and co-owner of Jones Brothers Construction. He was preceded in death by parents, Tidus Jones and Jennie Hancock; brothers, Cleve and Neal Jones . He is survived by wife, Helen Jones ; daughters, Angie (Jeff) Kitts and Michelle (Jerry) Bible; grandchildren, Jacob and Mackenzie Bible; brother, Wayne (Phyllis) Jones ; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Fielden Chapel with Rev. Greg Jones and Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Friday in Pleasant Grove "Piney" Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
