Zella Davenport Cooper, age 83 of Louisville, TN died Thursday, September 21, 2000.
Mrs. Cooper was born in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to the late Andrew and Rebecca Davenport. She was a longtime resident of Naples, Florida and more recently resided with her son in Louisville, TN. She was formerly employed by The Mountain View Hotel and the Riverside Hotel. Mrs. Cooper was a member of First Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Xan and Herman Davenport and her husband, Carl William Cooper.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Susie Cooper of Louisville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Bill Crawford of Naples, FL; grandchildren: Cyndi Brandon, Scott Galloway, Rodney Galloway, Sean Stone, Carson Cooper, Cathy Fulgham, Andrea Donahoe; 8 great-grandchildren; aunt, Emma Tinker and husband Clarence of Maryville.
Funeral service 7 p.m. Friday at Atchley's Smoky Mountain Chapel in Pigeon Forge with Rev. W. W. Cope officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Saturday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Atchley's Smoky Mountain Chapel, 220 Emert Street, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
