HATCHER, EULA MAE GALYON - age 80, of Sevierville, passed away Thursday September 7, 2000 after a brave and courageous fight with cancer. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sevierville, and was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Flora Galyon; husband, Rube Hatcher who was her partner in life for 54 years; son in law, Jerry McFalls; and sister, Esta Rogers.
Survivors: son and daughter in law, Jimmy and Kathy Hatcher; daughters and sons in law, Shirley and Milford Blair, Geraldine and Tom Jinks, Joyce and Jim Wade; grandsons, Rodney and Lisa Blair, Ricky and Debbie Blair, Roger and Suzanne McFalls, Steve and Elizabeth McFalls, Jim Hatcher, Scott Hatcher, Denny Hatcher; great grandchildren, Amanda and Jonathan Blair, Rachel, Sarah and Matthew McFalls; honorary grandchildren and great grandchildren, Gary and Tammy Williamson, Morgan and Landon; brother, Kenneth Galyon; brothers and sisters in law, Rev. W.A.. and Dorothy Galyon, Darrell and Bea Galyon of Detroit, Mich., Harold and Joy Galyon of Smyrna, Tenn.; sisters, Ruby Blalock, Marjorie Johnson of Detroit, Mich.; sister and brother in law, Louise and Rex Delozier; brother in law, Echard Hatcher, Knoxville; brother in law, Ermal Ballard; brother in law and sister in law, Carl and Lucille Hatcher; sisters in law, and brothers in law, Cora and Gene Chambers, Flora and Clyde Baker. Mrs. Hatcher leaves many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday in the Old Sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Sevierville. Rev. W.A. Galyon, Rev. Jerry Hyder and Rev. Scott Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Music Ministry and/or TV Ministry of First Baptist Church, 317 Parkway, Sevierville, Tenn. 37862. Atchley Funeral Home in charge.
