- Sharron Quigley was superintendent of iron furnaces in Brown and Mosgrove while
he cleared land for his farm in Boggs Township. He was Armstrong County
Auditor from 1852 to 1858, a Justice of the Peace and Township Auditor, also a
prominent worker and Elder in the Presbyterian Church.
The will of Sharon Quigley, written 20 October 1900, probated 4 August 1916,
directed that all his property should be sold and the proceeds divided equally
among his four daughters (his son John J. Quigley having previously been
provided for). Executors: James M. Heilman and daughter Jane Hull.
Witnesses: J. H. Lawson and H. G. Heilman. A codicil written 16 Jun 1913
designated daughter Esther E. Heilman as Executrix in place of her husband who
was deceased.
