• Notes

  Sharron Quigley was superintendent of iron furnaces in Brown and Mosgrove while he cleared land for his farm in Boggs Township. He was Armstrong County Auditor from 1852 to 1858, a Justice of the Peace and Township Auditor, also a prominent worker and Elder in the Presbyterian Church. The will of Sharon Quigley, written 20 October 1900, probated 4 August 1916, directed that all his property should be sold and the proceeds divided equally among his four daughters (his son John J. Quigley having previously been provided for). Executors: James M. Heilman and daughter Jane Hull. Witnesses: J. H. Lawson and H. G. Heilman. A codicil written 16 Jun 1913 designated daughter Esther E.
