PACK, RUTH DIXON - A native of Sevierville, TN and long-time Nashvillian, Ruth Pack was born on October 3, 1927 and passed away June 30, 2011. Ruth will be deeply missed by both her family and friends. She was a loving wife to the late former attorney general David Massey Pack; an extraordinary mother and mother-in-law to Pam and Paul Thompson and David and Ann Pack; and a devoted grandmother to Paul Thompson, Jr., Caroline Thompson, Emmie Pack and Massey Pack. She is also survived by many loving family members including her siblings Fred Dixon and Betty Radford. She was the daughter of the deceased Lillian and Roy Dixon, and she is also preceded in death by her brother, Earl Dixon. Ruth will be remembered for her inspirational dedication to her family, her profound resiliency of spirit, and the endearing effect of her fun-loving personality. A Graveside Service will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Shiloh Cemetery, Pigeon Forge, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
