She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hazelwood; one brother; and several sisters. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sonja Hazelwood; sister, Lenora Allen; granddaughters, Lindsey and Maisie Hazelwood, all of Newport; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Watts and Rev. Craig Ward officiating, with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral at Manes Funeral Home. Manes Funeral Home is in charge.
