She was a member of Mountain View Church of God in Seymour. Preceded in death by her father Otha Wilson (Red) Smelcer and her daughter Kaye Brennan, and son-in-law Doug Brennan, special son-in-law Kenneth (Bud) Withrow, and brother-in-law Parlon ogle. Survivors: Mother: Eva Pearl Sister: Mary Ruth Ogle Sons and Daughter-in-laws: Carl (Gene) Patty and wife Donna, Curtis Patty and wife Brenda Daughters and Son-in-laws: Delores Vess and husband George, Faye Mckinney and husband Dale Grandchildren: Robert Vess, BJ Withrow, Leeann Cate, Crystal Hope and Genia Poppelwell Several Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all who helped to care for her at U.T. Medical Center during her lengthy illness. She will be greatly missed by all who know her. Funeral service 7 PM on Friday in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with B.J. Withrow officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour.
