Pearl Lemons Sisk, 92, of Newport, died Monday morning at Baptist Convalescent
Center.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newport and a retired employee of Parks-Belk after more than 30 years of employment.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roy Sisk; son, Maurice Sanford Sisk; daughter, Rowena Brooks; grandson, Mike Brooks; and half-brothers, Charlie and George
Lemons.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Vivian and Vilas Rogers of Morristown, and
Betty and J.D. Miller and Jane and Newell (Hop) Byrd, all of Newport; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Gladys Sisk of Nashville and Kenneth and Shirley Sisk of Newport; special granddaughter and her hus band, Janice and Calvin Norton of Newport; sister, Eula Mae Ramsey of Wyandotte, Michigan; half-sister, Lucy Ball of Dandridge; and several grandchildren, great-grandchil dren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Manes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Lindsey officiating. Burial was 10 a.m. Wednesday in Union Cemetery with Mr. Ralph
Smith officiating.
The family received friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday prior to
the funeral.
Manes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
