He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Nora Hale Nelson; grandparents, Wavie and Otto Gray; Rose and Dee Costner. He is survived by his wife Lora Costner; son, Mason Costner; and daughter Molly Costner; parents, Gene and Patty Costner all of Newport sister, Mary Anne Costner of Newport; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeff and DeAnna Hale, Joyce Hale, Amanda and Danny Hall and Robert and Kristan Nelson; special friend, Mark Scott; also several nieces, nephews and a host of other special family and friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Brian Parrish officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in Hall Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
