Ms. Debra Ann Presnell, 47, of Newport, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 28, 2008, at Lakeway Hospital in Morristown, after a lengthy battle with diabetes. She attended Ridgecrest Bible Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Sonny T. Presnell; grandparents, Sherman and Myrtle Presnell and Dee and Rosa Costner. Survivors include her daughter, Tessa Noele Isley, of Newport; mother, Lois Presnell, of Newport; sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Cecil Prater, of Newport, and Jenean and Dr. McDonald Gray, of Parrottsville; niece, Misty Dorsey, of Newport; uncles and aunts, Gene and Patty Costner, Freddy and Ann Costner, all of Newport, and Lola and Bobby Parks, of Parrottsville. Additional survivors include special friends, the Jr. Arrowood family, Johnny McMahan, Tony Bryant, all of Newport; Deborah Sue, Matthew, and Larry Woody, all of Cosby; and cousin, Penny Taylor, of Knoxville. Funeral service was held 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steven Smith officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Presnell Family Cemetery for 10:00 a.m. interment. Family received friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening prior to services. Arrangements by Costner-Maloy.
