Mr. Ted Franklin Strange, 68, of Del Rio, died July 24 at Baptist Hospital of Cocke County.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Floyd Strange and Sallie Presnell Strange; and grandsons, Logan Mathis and Justin Strange.
Survivors: children, Teddy W. Strange of Grandbay, Alabama, Kathy (Jim) Smith of Newport, Debbie (Ken) Mathis of Saraland, Alabama, and Marty (Michelle) Strange, Mobile, Alabama; sisters, Dorothy Strange (Newport), Alice Parks (Newport), Gladys Willis (Newport), Bernice Miller (Newport), Imogene Rathbone (Newport), Irene Pack (Newport), and Wilma Sprouse (Newport); brothers, Floyd Strange Jr. (Newport) and Robert Strange (Newport); and grandsons, Jared and Kaleb Smith of Newport, Adam (Amy) Strange of Mississippi, and Jacob Strange of Mobile, Alabama. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the Clark Cemetery. Rev. Bill Murr will officiate. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. for the 2 p.m. burial. Interment in the Clark Cemetery.
Costner-Maloy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
