Jenkins and Joy Elane Jenkins; parents, Alexander and Doris Jenkins; brothers, Thad Scott, Charles Ernest, Bobby Dean, Douglas D. and Donald Fredrick Jenkins. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jenkins of Newport; son, Gerald Edward Jenkins, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Newport; daughter, Judean Morris and husband, Dwayne of Cincinnati, Ohio; Karen Faye White and husband William of West Lafayette, Indiana; sister, Sheila Sapp of Newport; grandchildren, Ashley Jocelyn Ausman, Brittany Nichole Stooksburg, Catherine Jessamyn White, Sarah Lindsey White, Jared Allen Morris, Zachary Noah Morris. Funeral Services will be held 8 p.m. Saturday at Manes Funeral Home with Ed Hardison officiating, with burial 2 p.m. Sunday in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
