Rosie will be remembered for her great love of family, camping, gardening, babies, and gospel and bluegrass music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conley Black; parents, John Riley and Ollie Belle Mooneyham; grandchildren, David Elsie Raines and Mickey Ray Ogle; brothers, Claude, Ted, Norman, Hayden, and Clayton Mooneyham; sisters, Gennie B. Black, Nina Mae Valentine, Dolly Black, Mae Cagle, and Olie Cogdill; sons-in-law, Everette Grigsby, Troy Dale Valentine, and Donald (Kuz) Worley. Rosie a loving mother of seven, is survived by her children, Robert Black and Mary Kate, Martha Grigsby Holt (Bill), Helen Raines Fine (Mike), Willa Dean Worley, Maxine B. Black (Groman), Connie Black Hembree (Joe), and Pauline Raines (Ronald); sisters, Mozella Ford who also assisted in her care and Nita Frisbee; bother, Junior Mooneyham; grandchildren, Jeff Grigsby (Vonda), Bobby Black, Conley Raines (Sandra), Marty Grigsby (Tanya), Lisa James, Debra Woody, Bennie Black (Glenda), Angel Fox (Mark), Rodney Raines (Rebecca), and Travis Raines (Carrie); nine great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, and a host of friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for the compassionate care their mother received during her lengthy illness.Rosie will be greatly missed by all those who loved her. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Black’s Chapel Church with Rev. Danny Green and Rev. Gary Henderson officiating.
