Lori Carol Parks, age 47, of Parrottsville, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virgie Helton; grandmothers, Kate Helton and Jessie Snyder; sister, Lisa Reed; brothers, Mark Goins and Terry Lynn Goins. She is survived by her sons, William Jason Parks (Laura Goode) and Bradley Parks both of Newport; daughters, Jennifer Parks (Dustin White) and Amber (Joey) Barrett both of Newport; husband of 28 years, Gary Parks of Parrottsville; sister, Audrey (David) Rice of Newport; brother-in-law, Clayton Owenby of Newport; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and special friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 5, 2014 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Eddie Young officiating.
