Mrs. Park grew up in the Mannings Chapel Community, where she attended church and school, and later taught. She returned following her teaching career in multiple states and retired living in the home where she was born. She is survived by her son, John Copp, Los Angeles, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Jim McGowan, Greeneville, TN; grandchildren, Josh and Tina McGowan, Limestone, TN, Isaiah McGowan, Hannah McGowan, of Greeneville, TN, Timothy McGowan, Fairfax, VA; great-grandchildren, Tyleah and Jericho McGowan; sisters, Audrey Weeks, Morristown, TN, Doris Parks, Parrottsville, TN, Hazel Walker, Maryville, TN. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, December 2, 2008 and 11:00 am, until 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Manes Funeral Home.
