(February 20, 1939 - July 15, 2009) Kenneth (Hoodlum) Williamson, age 70, of Birmingham, Alabama, formerly of Newport, passed away, Wednesday, July 15, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Pittman Williamson; parents, William and Virgie Williamson; sister, Elora Powers; brothers, Hoover and Dee R. Williamson. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Misty Williamson, Brad and Deana Williamson; grandchildren, Emma and Eli all of Alabama; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Glenda Williamson of Cosby, TN, Edgar and Carrie Williamson, of Seymour, TN; also several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, July 18, 2009 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Olie Williamson, minister of Cosby Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm Saturday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
