Joseph Henry “Joe” Hale, age 64, of Newport, passed away at his home surrounded by his family and friends Wednesday, August 24, 2016. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Minnie Hale; sister, Judy Sneed, infant brother, William Hale; and infant sister Wanda Hale. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Jerry Ford; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Angie Hale; sister and brother-in-law, Lora and Jack Eslinger; also nieces, nephews other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, August 26, 2016 with funeral services following at 7:00 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Sherman Ball officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the Ball Cemetery. Family and friends may sign the guest register on line at: www.manesfunerahome.com. Arrangements by Manes Funeral Home.
